About Me

I’m an engineering leader with over 8 years leading engineering teams. My work sits at the intersection of people and delivery: building reliable systems matters, but so does growing the engineers who build them.

Over the past year I’ve moved from experimenting with AI tooling to actively embedding it into how my teams plan, build, and ship. I see AI-augmented engineering as a genuine competitive advantage. I look for practical ways to bring that into everything from planning to code review to how engineers grow their skills.

When I’m not leading teams, I’m building side projects that scratch personal itches. Bookshelf is a full-stack book-tracking app I built to manage my own reading list. It’s also a sandbox for trying out patterns I can’t always use in a production codebase.

I’m based in the Salem, OR area and open to remote engineering leadership roles.
